Reliance Jio is developing a budget friendly laptop called “JioBook” with Snapdragon Soc & Android..

Jio launched it’s first phone in 2017, and if you are waiting for more product’s from Jio here’s a happy news for you, Reliance “JioBook” (a Laptop) is in the making, and what will shock you is the prototype is running on Android 10 and powered by a Snapdragon Chipset.

In early 2018 Miguel Nunes, senior director, product management, Qualcomm Technologies, told Economic Times “we have talked to Jio. They could take the device and bundle it with data and content,”

Qualcomm had talks with Reliance Jio to launch laptops with cellular connectivity in 2018 and now it’s became a bit true after XDADEVELOPERS leaked some infos on the prototype of JioBook, even the live image of the prototype have leaked

Specs of the prototype (JioBook)
• Snapdragon 665 (sm6125) a 11nm Processor with built-in 4G LTE modem (Snapdragon X12), so the JioBook may likely come with cellular connectivity.
• 1366×768 resolution display
• Various models have been tested, including 2GB RAM (LPDDR4X) and 32GB storage (eMMC) & another model with 4GB RAM (LPDDR4X) and 64GB storage (eMMC 5.1)
• Qualcomm audio chip
• Mini HDMI connector (for video output)
• 2.4 and 5GHz WiFi
• Bluetooth
• Three-axis accelerometer
• Likely to come with Android
• JioStore, JioMeet, JioPages, Jio’s ad services & Microsoft Teams, Edge and Office also pre-installed in the prototype

The prototype may just be as close to the final version and also the “JioBook” product name may not be the final one, and finally the assembly of JioBook could happen around mid-May.
